What is the current job market value of having a degree in sport science? What are the career options abroad? After the 4 best years of my life, in my hometown having graduated from the best Sport and Exercise Sciences school in the country I left for national service. After huge deliberation and various exams, I secured a scholarship from IKY (Ίδρυμα Κοινωνικών Υποτροφιών) foundation. I was accepted for an MPhil/PhD at the prestigious Exeter University, Sport and Exercise Science School in the UK. The journey has been eventful, tiring, full of exhausting hours of work but at the same time rewarding and currently I am the Provost and Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic at St Mary’s University, London, UK.
